WHAT WE BELIEVE...

  • The Divine inspiration and inerrancy of Scripture (2 Timothy 3:16)
  • God's desire is that all be saved. (2 Timothy 2:4)
  • The result of sin is eternal death (hell). But, through Jesus, forgiveness and salvation are freely given. (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23)
  • Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. (Acts 4:12)
  • Jesus came to this earth in flesh and blood in order to die on the cross to pay for our sins and purchase salvation for us. (John 3:16, Mark 10:45)
  • The Deity of Jesus Christ and the historic fact of His bodily resurrection. (Colossians 2:9, 1 Corinthians 15:4)
  • Everyone must make a personal decision to invite Jesus in his/her life to be saved. (Romans 10:13)
  • Salvation is promised and can be known with confidence by all who believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. (1 John 5:13)
  • The resurrection of all, either to eternal life in heaven or to eternal punishment (hell). (John 14:3)
  • The personal work of the Holy Spirit in bringing people to faith and in teaching believers God's truth. (John 16:13)
  • The personal return of Jesus Christ. (John 14:3)
  • Every Christian has received a spiritual gift (talent) which is given by God for the purpose of serving others and bringing glory to God. (1 Peter 4:10, 1 Corinthians 12:7, 11)
  • God instructs all Christians to be actively involved in a local church for their spiritual growth. (Hebrews 10:24-25)
  • We faithfully celebrate the gift of God's grace through the means of His word and the sacraments of baptism or communion. (2 Timothy, Titus 3:4-7, Matthew 26:26-28)
