FLOCKED!
February in Minnesota is a cold, dull, dreary month. Add a splash of color to someone’s yard and help support our students as we get ready to go to the National Youth Convention next summer!!
Here’s how it works
For a donation of $20, a dozen of our pink feathered friends will find a temporary roost in a yard of your choosing - friend, family, neighbors…you get the idea. The larger the donation to our youth group, the larger the flock - up to 50 flamingos! And don't worry! The flock is restless and will migrate to another roosting spot within a day or so. You can also protect your lawn from those pesky flamingo flocks: Anti-Flocking Insurance Policies are $20 and will protect you from one attempt of any size from your “friend.”
Things to be aware of
Please note that we will use discretion on how far the flock will move. If it’s too far, we will reach out and let you know. For reference, yards in or near Fergus Falls, Dalton, Underwood, Ashby, and Battle Lake are fair game.
The flock will not be placed on public land (like parks, schools, etc.) or on apartment properties.
One Anti-Flocking Insurance policy is good for preventing a single migration into your yard. You are able to purchase more than one policy.
If/when asked, we will absolutely share who decided to grace your yard with our pink feathered friends. You may purchase our silence and remain annonymous for an extra $5.
We will do our best to honor specific date requests in the order they came in. This means that your specific date may not be possible due to previous requests.
Signup will close on February 15th. Any reservations that don’t fit in February will be carried out into March.
